The Walther Collection presents Life and Dreams: Contemporary Chinese Photography and Media Art, the first extensive exhibition of works by Chinese artists represented in The Walther Collection. Featuring forty-three artists, Life and Dreams showcases a wide range of groundbreaking photography and media art to provide an up-to-the-minute account of the main directions and key achievements in contemporary Chinese photography and media art during the past three decades.
From November 19, the museum will be closed during winter. You'll have the chance to visit the exhibition with extended hours on Sunday, November 18, from 1 to 5pm. In addition, there will be a final public tour through the exhibition at 3pm.
Admission is free and pre-registration is not necessary. Please note that our exhibition premises are not barrier-free and that the tour is held in German.
