Hao Jingban is a video artist educated in both China and England. In 2012, she began a series of semi-documentary works surrounding the Beijing ballroom-dancing scene that incorporates portrait photographs, slow long shots, and voice-overs. Her projects feature subjects that convey nostalgia for past collective memories in China, while meditating on current progressions.
